Cross-device Conversions report

Customers may make click on an ad using one device, such as a mobile phone, and make travel plans using a different device such as a desktop computer. The Cross Device Conversions report is designed to show such conversions for partners who have enabled conversion tracking.

How to find the Cross Device Conversions report

  1. Open Hotel Ads Center in a browser.
  2. Click on the Intelligence tab. The “Reports” view displays.
  3. Click Download in the “Cross Device Conversions Report” column to download a report for that week.

Definitions

The following table describes the columns in the Cross Device Conversions report:

 

Column name Description
Account/Campaign Name

If the traffic came from a campaign, then the campaign name will appear here. If the traffic didn’t come from a campaign, the the account name will appear here.

Campaign ID / Subaccount ID

If the traffic came from a campaign, then the campaign’s ID will appear here. If the traffic didn’t come from a campaign, then the account’s ID will appear here.

Hotel country

The country of the hotel displayed in the ad that the user clicked on (not the subsequent conversion).

User country The country where the user was located when the ad was clicked, based on IP location, and provided as a 2-letter country code.
Device type

The type of device a customer used to click on the hotel ad. Possible values are:

  • Mobile
  • Tablet
  • Desktop
Conversions The number of same-device conversions for the above dimensions.
Cross Device Conversions The estimated number of cross-device conversions for the above dimensions.
Total Conversions Conversions + cross-device conversions. The Cross Device Conversions report will be provided weekly, and will be updated for additional conversions for 30 days after it’s issued.


Notes:

  • You must send all conversions to Google (not just conversions from hotel ads) for cross-device conversion reporting to work.
  • Cross-device conversions are estimated, and it’s possible that some cross-device conversions may not appear in the report. Google only reports cross-device conversions if there’s a large enough pool of observed conversions to make a confident estimate.
