Credits on your videos

We're discontinuing video credits after 31 January 2019. We're working on new features to let you tag other creators in your videos. You can still get credit for subtitle and closed caption contributions.

  • As of 26 November, you can no longer create or edit video credits. Existing video credits will still be available.
  • After 31 January 2019, existing video credits will be deleted.

Credits give you the ability to tag collaborators in your videos and link to each collaborator's channel from your video watch page. Highlight your video stars, writers or other collaborators. Give credit to your video editors or the musician who composed your score!

Credits are currently available to channels with at least 5,000 subscribers. Once applied to a video and approved by the creator who has been credited, credits will appear below the description of your video. You'll need to click Show more to reveal the credits.

Hover over a credit to learn a bit more about the channel that has been credited, or click on the credit to visit that channel.
