If you get an error when you try to redeem your card, check these common solutions:
- “Invalid code” error: Carefully re-enter your code. It's easy to mix up similar characters like the number "0" and the letter "O."
- “Code can only be used in [country]” error: Your Google Play account’s country should match where the gift card was bought.
- Your card didn’t work: If you have the receipt, to confirm it’s activated correctly, contact the retailer where you bought the card.
You can redeem Google Play Points for promotional codes if the following are met:
- You use an Android device.
- You're in the United States or Japan.
You can use promo codes to get discounts from Google Store. The terms and conditions differ based on each offer. To find current offers, go to the "Use" tab of your Play Points account.
