- You'll need to sign into your Google Account.
- Enter your device's IMEI or serial number.
- On the next screen, confirm that the IMEI or serial number matches the device that you want repaired.
- Select Continue.
- Select the issues and symptoms that apply to your device

- On the next screen, learn what issues are covered.
- Tip: If the device has more damages present, repairs can't be carried out only for select damages. All the damages to the device, whether in-warranty or out-of-warranty, have to be repaired. Make sure to select all damages to the device, even if you previously didn’t intend to report them. You'll be charged for any out-of-warranty repairs.
- In Step 2, select your repair option: Walk-In or Mail-In.
- In Step 3, to complete the next steps, either:
- Confirm mail-in details.
- Find the nearest walk-in location.

Get ready to start a repair request
Important: You’ll need to factory reset your phone before you get your phone repaired. If you don’t, the service center will reset it for you. A factory reset erases all your data from your phone.
- Back up your Google Account: To avoid loss of data, remember to back up your data, then factory reset your phone, and remove the SIM card.
- Check your repair options:
- Walk-in
- Services can often be completed on the same day. Check with your nearest service location for the exact time.
- Be sure to bring your proof of purchase or invoice.
- If you can’t find a service centre in your area, you can arrange for us to pick up the phone from you. Fill out the Contact Us form.

Tips:
- To avoid a factory reset, you can put your device in Repair Mode. Learn how to use Repair Mode for repair services.
- Only certain devices can enter repair mode. Eligible devices include Pixel phones that run Android 14 December 2023 update or higher with at least 2 GB available space left on the phone. Learn more about your Android version.
