Pixel phones have support options for both in-warranty and out-of-warranty damage. In-warranty repairs for factory defects are covered at no cost, while out-of-warranty repairs for accidental damage have a fee. The availability of mail-in and walk-in options depend on your phone's warranty status and where you’re located.

Prepare for your repair

Before you take or send your phone in for repair, we recommend you to:

• Back up your data: Save your photos, contacts, and files so you don't lose them when your phone is repaired.
• Find your phone's IMEI number: You’ll likely need this 15-digit number.
  • To get the IMEI number, you can either:
    • Check your phone's SIM card tray
    • Check it on the original box
    • Dial *#06#
• Have your proof of purchase ready: For warranty claims, you may need to provide the original receipt.

    • Confirm that the parts you need are available.
    • Get an estimate of the repair cost.
    • Schedule an appointment.

• For mail-in service:
  • In supported countries, you can start the repair process online through the Google Store.
  • If there isn’t an option available in your region, contact us.

• If you plan to use a walk-in service, first call the repair center to book an appointment and confirm parts availability.
