Why this issue is happening
You’ve submitted multiple product offers with the same set of attributes and values. As a result, your product data contains duplicate offers.
How to fix the issue
To remove any duplicate offers or distinguish similar offers, you’ll need to change or remove some attributes or attribute values.
Attributes you may need to change or remove include:
- Description [description]
- Title [title]
- Age group [age_group]
- Capacity [capacity]
- Color [color]
- Condition [condition]
- Count [count]
- Flavor [flavor]
- Format [format]
- Gender [gender]
- Image link [image_link]
- Material [material]
- Multipack [multipack]
- Pattern [pattern]
- Product details [product_details]
- Scent [scent]
- Size [size]
- Size type [size_type]
- Theme [theme]
- Unit pricing measure [unit_pricing_measure]
Fix products one by one directly in Merchant Center
Go to Products in the Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.
Use the filter icon above the table to find all products affected by your issue.
Click on the title of the product you want to fix, then click Edit product.
Make sure your product has a unique set of attribute and attribute values.
Select Save.
Fix multiple products at once
Go to Products in the Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.
Use the filter icon above the table to find all products affected by your issue.
Select the Download icon to download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues or this particular issue.
Cross reference the downloaded list with your uploaded product data, and make sure your product has a unique set of attribute and attribute values.
Reupload your corrected product data to the Merchant Center using your chosen upload method.
Next steps
After making the requested changes, check that you’ve fixed the issue by making sure it’s no longer listed on the “Needs attention” page.
Keep in mind: It may take some time for your change to be reflected on the “Needs attention” page.
