Étape 1 : Configurer Chromecast

Pour caster YouTube TV depuis votre appareil mobile, tablette ou ordinateur sur votre téléviseur, commencez par configurer votre Chromecast.

Remarque : Vous pouvez utiliser un appareil Chromecast ou Chromecast Ultra. Vous pouvez caster des contenus depuis Chromecast (1re génération), mais il est possible que vous constatiez une baisse des performances, car il ne reçoit plus de mises à jour logicielles ou de sécurité et Google ne fournit plus d'assistance technique le concernant.

Step 2. Sign up for YouTube TV

If you haven't already, sign up and customize your YouTube TV membership. 

Note: To be eligible for YouTube TV, you must meet:

• System requirements
• Location requirements
• Internet download speed requirements

Step 3. Cast programs to your TV

1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is on the same Wi-Fi network as Chromecast.
2. Open the YouTube TV app.
3. Tap Cast  at the top of the Home screen. 
4. Choose the device you want to cast to.
5. Choose a TV show or video.
6. Tap Play. 

Step 4. Stop casting

Tap or click Cast   Disconnect.

Fix a problem

If you're experiencing issues with video streaming, try the first troubleshooting tip below and see if it fixes the problem. If not, move to the next step.

Close & reopen the YouTube TV app:

1. Exit out of the YouTube TV app, and then reopen it. 
2. Try watching your video again after reopening the app.

Check for updates:

1. Check that you've installed the latest system updates for your device.
2. Update to the newest available version of the YouTube TV app.
3. Uninstall and reinstall the YouTube TV app.

Check your connection:

1. Make sure you're connected to the internet. YouTube TV requires a connection of at least 3 Mbps for optimal viewing experience.
2. Turn your mobile data connection off and on.
3. Change the video quality to a lower setting. Select More  in the video player  Quality.
4. Close the video player by pulling down to minimize it, and then swiping to the right. Reopen the player and try watching the video again. 

Restart your Chromecast:

1. Unplug the power cord from the Chromecast device.
2. Leave it unplugged for ~1 minute.
3. Plug the power cord back in.

Restart your router:

1. Unplug the power cord from the router
2. Leave it unplugged for ~1 minute.
3. Plug the power cord back in and allow it to restart.

Restart your mobile device or browser:

1. Hold down the power button to turn off your device, wait 30 seconds, and then restart your device.
