Suspend a user who's left your organization

You may occasionally need to suspend an inactive user—for example, when that person has left your organization but is still able to access shared files within your domain.

To suspend a user:

  1. Sign in to the User Hub.
  2. In the Suspend a user area, click Start request.
  3. Enter the email address of the user account you want suspended. This must be an address that's part of your organization's domain.
  4. Click Submit.
A suspension only lasts as long as the user doesn't have access to their business email account. Users who can reverify access to their business email account can regain access to their G Suite account.
