Perform Creator Studio tasks in YouTube Studio beta

We’re working to make YouTube Studio beta the new home for creators, and have added most tools that creators need. Use this article to learn how to use YouTube Studio beta for tasks that you previously did in Creator Studio Classic.

Add a video to a playlist

  1. Sign in to YouTube Studio beta.
  2. From the left menu, select Videos.
  3. Click a video’s title or thumbnail.
  4. Select Playlists.
  5. Check the box next to the playlist you’d like to add to.
  6. Select DONE.
  7. At the top of the page, select Save.

Add captions to videos

  1. Sign in to YouTube Studio beta.
  2. From the left menu, select Transcriptions.
  3. Click a video’s title or thumbnail.
  4. Select Add language and choose the language of the captions you'd like to add.
  5. In the “Subtitles” column, select Add.
  6. Choose between:
  7. Add subtitles and Save changes.

Add cards to videos

  1. Sign in to YouTube Studio beta.
  2. From the left menu, select Videos.
  3. Click a video’s title or thumbnail.
  4. Select Cards.

Browse and download songs from the Audio library

  1. Sign in to YouTube Studio beta.
  2. From the left menu, select Other features.
  3. Select Audio library.

Add or replace audio in your video

  1. Sign in to YouTube Studio beta.
  2. From the left menu, select Videos.
  3. Click a video’s title or thumbnail.
  4. From the left menu, select Editor.
  5. In the audio row Music note, click Expand Minimize.
  6. Select +AUDIO.
  7. Find the audio you’d like to add and select ADD TO VIDEO.
  8. In the video player, drag the edges of the audio track to change its timing.
  9. Select Save changes.

Delete videos in bulk

We’re still working on adding this feature. To delete multiple videos at once, return to Creator Studio. From the left menu, select Creator Studio Classic.

Save a video as new

We’re still working on adding this feature. To save an edited video as a new video, return to Creator Studio. From the left menu, select Creator Studio Classic.
