If you're calling from the United States and Canada to a number within those countries, almost all calls are free, but a few destinations will cost USD 1 cent per minute depending on the specific phone number. From all other countries, calls to the U.S. and Canada will cost USD 1 cent per minute. The 1-cent rate may vary depending on the local currency. You also can make calls to destinations outside of the U.S. and Canada with low international rates.

Add credit to your Google Voice account

  1. Go to Google Voice.
  2. Next to “Credit” on the left side of your inbox, click the + sign. Or on the "Billing" tab of your Google Voice Settings, click Add credit.
  3. A Google Wallet page will show. Enter your credit card and billing information.
  4. Once you complete your purchase, you'll get a verification message with the purchase details at the email address you used to sign in to Google Wallet.

You may see an additional $1.00 transaction from Google, which is a pending authorization request to ensure your card is valid and has sufficient funds; it is not an actual charge.

You can have a maximum of $70.00 credit at one time.
