One or more of the products you’ve submitted has been identified as an N95 or adjacent mask (KN95, FFP2, and KF94), which cannot be featured in Shopping ads or free listings without approval. In order to mitigate the risk of counterfeit masks being sold, merchants and suppliers will need to apply for approval before their offers can be listed. The application process for N95, KN95, FFP2, and KF94 masks will require merchants and suppliers to provide business and product information for review.

  • Apply for N95s to be listed via ProjectN95.
  • Apply for KN95, FFP2, and KF94 to be listed via LegitScript.

For N95 masks

We are partnering with a nonprofit, Project N95, to list N95s online in the US. Merchants can apply for approval from Project N95 to list their NIOSH-approved N95 masks on Merchant Center.

  • Submit your information to Project N95 for review.
  • A decision will be provided via email from Project N95.
  • If approved, you can start listing your offers on Shopping ads and free listings via Merchant Center. Learn how to set up your Shopping ads and free listings.
  • If you are not approved, you will not be able to list N95s via Project N95 on Shopping ads or free listings.
  • If you don’t see a response back, contact Project N95.

For KN95, FFP2, and KF94 masks

We are partnering with LegitScript to review KN95, FFP2, and KF94 mask sellers to mitigate counterfeit risk. Merchants can apply for approval to list their offers on Merchant Center. LegitScript-vetted FFP2, KN95, and KF94 masks will be eligible for global sales.

  • Submit your information to LegitScript for review.
    • KN95 and FFP2 masks will require independent testing by a lab.
    • Be sure to include the GTIN(s) corresponding to the product(s) you will offer in Merchant Center.
  • A decision will be provided via email from LegitScript. Reviews take approximately 5 business days, or up to 3 weeks if lab testing is required.
  • If approved, you can start listing your offers on Shopping ads and free listings via Merchant Center. Learn how to set up your Shopping ads and free listings.
    • If you have mask offers listed in Merchant Center that are disapproved, those offers will become active within a week of approval (business days). No action is required.
      • If you don’t see active offers within a week of receiving the LegitScript approval email, refresh or reupload your feed.
    • If you are new to Merchant Center or have no offers listed, list your offers. Learn how to upload products to your feed
  • If your masks are not approved by LegitScript, you will not be able to run ads or free listings for those offers.
  • If you don’t see a response back, contact LegitScript.
