Get Google One AI Premium benefits

With a Google One AI Premium membership, you get access to certain AI features built by Google. The membership includes 2 TB of expanded storage and additional benefits to optimise your Google usage. Learn more about ongoing benefits.

Eligibility

To get a Google One AI Premium membership, you need to sign in with your personal Google Account. If you don't have an account, you'll need to create one.
You must be a family plan manager. The family group members of AI Premium subscribers can enjoy Gemini Advanced features at no extra charge until 30 September 2024.
You must meet minimum age requirements. For Gemini Advanced and Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Slides and more, you must be 18 years of age or older.
For now, Gemini Advanced with our 1.0 Ultra model is available and optimised only for English, but can respond to queries in other languages that Gemini is available in.
You can send prompts to Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Slides and more in US English only. All responses are delivered in US English.

Get a Google One AI Premium membership

Important: You must sign in with your Google Account.

On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google One app .
At the top, tap Menu Settings .
Tap Change membership plan.
To review the benefits, go to 'Google One AI Premium'.
Tap Get offer.
To confirm, tap Agree.
Select your payment method.
Tap Subscribe.

Switch to a Google One AI Premium membership

If you already have a Google One membership, you can change your membership.

Switch to Google One AI Premium in device settings

Important: If you initially subscribed to Google One in the Apple store, you must switch to a different plan through settings.

Open Settings Apple ID Subscriptions.
- Choose Google One , Gmail , Google Drive or Google Photos .
Tap See all plans.
Select Google One AI Premium.
Confirm your new subscription.

Change your plan

Change your plan from Google One

To switch to a different Google One plan:

On your iPhone or iPad, sign in to Google One.
At the top right, tap Settings Change membership plan.
Choose your new storage limit.
- To get more storage: Choose a plan under 'Upgrade options'.
- To find other or smaller storage plans: Tap See more plans.
  - If there's no downgrade option, you're already on the lowest plan.
After you select your plan, confirm your new subscription.

Important: If you initially subscribed to Google One in the Apple store or in a Google app like Gmail, Google Drive or Google Photos, you must switch to a different plan through settings.

Open Settings Apple ID Subscriptions.
- Choose Google One , Gmail , Google Drive or Google Photos .
Tap See all plans.
Select your new plan.
Confirm your new subscription.

Change your storage plan

Cancel your plan

You can cancel your plan in Google One settings.

Go to gemini.google.com.
At the top, tap Menu Settings Manage subscription. This opens Google One settings, where you can cancel your plan.
Tap Cancel membership Cancel.

What happens when you cancel your plan

When your plan ends, you'll no longer have access to:

Gemini Advanced. You won't be able to:
- Start new chats with Gemini Advanced
- Continue chats created with Gemini Advanced
- Use features that are only available on Gemini Advanced

Troubleshoot issues with Google One AI Premium

When you have a Google One membership through Google Fi Unlimited benefit

As of 13 March 2024, current Google One members through Fi Unlimited+ can upgrade to the AI Premium plan. Learn about Google One on the Unlimited Plus plan.

When you upgrade to a 5 TB+ Google One membership

Members of 5 TB+ membership can enjoy Gemini Advanced features until 31 July 2024 at no extra charge. Gemini will soon be available in:

When you're already a Google One member

If you purchased your membership through the Apple Store:
1. You'll need to cancel your current Google One membership.
2. After cancellation, you can sign up for a Google One AI Premium membership.
The purchase of Google One AI Premium membership through third-party integrated billing providers isn't yet available.

When you're part of a family group

family group members, aged 18+, of AI Premium subscribers can enjoy Gemini Advanced features until 30 September 2024 at no extra charge.
