The Google Ads policy on illegal products and services was clarified in early January 2012. The policy was updated to specify that Google doesn't allow ads or landing pages that promote the sale of Burmese jadeite and rubies when targeting the United States. We made this decision for legal reasons. The policy description has been updated to reflect this change.
