Heath Care and Medicines

The Google Ads policy on health care and medicines will change around the beginning of January 2011. We'll no longer accept ads that promote online pharmacies unless the advertiser in question has been registered by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and provides us with their GPhC registration number. The GPhC has replaced the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) as the certifying body for pharmacies, and certifications provided by the RPSGB will no longer be accepted by Google for our online pharmacy policy starting January 2011. This change will affect the United Kingdom. We'll send notifications to affected advertisers. After the change goes into effect, the country-specific section for the United Kingdom will be updated to reflect this change.
