[Original post]

There have been multiple reports by publishers about ads ceasing to appear on their sites without any notification. It certainly seems as if a large number of publishers are affected, however the cause remains unclear.

It would be helpful if you could post here so that the scale and nature of the issue can be discussed. Please share information such as your site's address and any observations you may have.

There has been no further communication from AdSense on this issue.

All I can suggest is that people carefully check their site's traffic sources. Traffic from social media links, link exchanges, traffic exchanges, email lists ... all could be considered poor quality. If your sites get little genuine traffic from search engines the problem is magnified further.

I have had my AdSense account since 2006 without any problem or issue whatsoever. I have setup a script for the add, usually 250 x 250, placed it on a side of the page and forgot it. Since Advanced Ads plugin, Google ads started to appear in may different places including above the main title.
I have made some adjustments in my AdSense account regarding mainly regarding the placement
above main title and also limiting the types of ads not related to my individual site, including the adult
or weapons and violence ads. I have noticed, that ads were sometime visible, sometime not, sometime visible on mobile or iPad, but not visible on a desktop or laptop. I obviously never clicked on any of my ads. This is the rule I know from the beginning and it would be stupid for me to do so. It would be good to know, why Google closed my AdSense account. They just mentioned illegal traffic. I have no idea how I could control this and it very vague anyway.  Anyway they do what they like and no one can do anything.
