Link your apps to Firebase

Link your apps to Firebase

Note: If you’ve enabled user metrics, you won’t be able to link your app to Firebase yet. However, enabling user metrics provides the same data in your AdMob account that linking to Firebase provides. An option to link to Firebase while using user metrics is coming soon.

In the meantime, if you’d like to use the Firebase tool suite, you can still install the Firebase SDK and use the Firebase console. Note that if you’ve enabled user metrics and installed the Firebase SDK, no data will appear in the user metrics card.

Link your AdMob app(s) to Firebase so that you can use your Google Analytics for Firebase data in AdMob. By linking to Firebase, your Google Analytics for Firebase data will be available to AdMob independent of your Google Analytics for Firebase Data Sharing Settings—this allows your Analytics data to flow to AdMob to enhance product features and improve app monetization.

Complete the steps below to link your apps to Firebase.

  1. Sign in to your AdMob account at
  2. Click Apps in the sidebar.

  5. Click Link to Firebase.
  6. Review the policy confirmation, then click Confirm.
