With the app campaign dimension in the cohort report, you can view LTV and retention for each of your Google Ads app campaigns. This can help you evaluate your campaign’s effectiveness and inform your ad campaign strategy.
How to enable app campaign dimension
To enable the app campaign dimension, you must:
- Link your AdMob app(s) to Firebase. Learn more.
- Link your Firebase project containing the app to a Google Ads account. Learn more.
- Note: Make sure you’re linking to the correct Google Ads account. You should link to the Google Ads account that contains the ad campaigns for the app you’d like to view in your Cohort Report.
Troubleshooting discrepancies in AdMob and Google Ads data
The number of app campaign installs in your AdMob Cohort Report should match the number of first_open conversions in your Firebase project. If you see a discrepancy between this number and the data in your Google Ads account, refer to the possible reasons for discrepancies.
