View a group

As an administrator, you can view a group to see its members, email address, description, and other group settings. 

Open the group's management page 

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

  2. From the Admin console Home page, go to Groups.

    To see Groups, you might have to click More controls at the bottom.

  3. Click the name of the group.

View group information

Click Group information to see the group's:

  • Email address
  • Description
  • Aliases

To edit these fields, click Edit Edit. Learn more about editing or deleting groups

View the group's members

Click Members to see the group's members, their email addresses, and roles. 

Tip: Click Download Download to download the members' information in a comma-separated values (CSV) file or in Google Sheets. 

View the group's settings

Click Settings to see the tasks that can be performed by members, owners, or managers. You can also see whether the group allows people outside of your organization to join.
