View a group

As an administrator, you can view your organization's groups in the Admin console. The Admin console shows group email addresses, members, and access settings.  

Open the group's management page 

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console.

    Sign in using your administrator account (does not end in @gmail.com).

  2. From the Admin console Home page, go to Groups.

    To see Groups, you might have to click More controls at the bottom.

  3. Click the name of a group.

View group information

On the group's management page, click Group information to see the group's:

  • Email address
  • Description
  • Aliases

To edit these fields, click Edit Edit. Learn more about editing or deleting groups

View a group's members

On the group's management page, click Members to see group member names, email addresses, and roles. 

Tip: Click Download Download to download the members' information in a comma-separated values (CSV) file or in Google Sheets. 

View a group's access settings

On the group's management page, click Settings to see the tasks that can be performed by members, owners, or managers. You can also see whether the group allows people outside of your organization to join. 

To edit these fields, click Edit Edit in the upper right.

View a group's advanced settings

This feature requires turning on Google Groups for Business.

To see advanced settings, click moderation settings or advanced settings on the group's management page.
