Taxes in Russia
Applies to G Suite, Google Drive Enterprise, Cloud Identity Premium, and other paid services managed in the Google Admin console.
Beginning January 1, 2019, foreign companies supplying e-commerce services directly to Russian customers are required to:
- Register with the Russian tax authorities.
- Independently calculate and pay value-added tax (VAT) on the value of services rendered.
Customers subject to VAT include legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.
Taxability might change from time to time based on changes to tax laws or guidance received from the taxing authorities.
