Transfer a call

This feature is available with Voice for G Suite accounts managed by your work or school. Sign in to your G Suite account.

When you answer or place a call, you can transfer the call to another number.

Note: you cannot transfer a call to emergency services or directory assistance (for example, 411).

  1. Answer the call.
  2. When ready, tap Transfer "".
    Voice puts the call on hold.
  3. From your list of contacts, find the person you want to transfer the call to.
    If the person isn't a contact, enter their number instead.
  4. When ready to transfer the call, tap the person's name or number. If you need to get back to your contacts, tap Back "".
    Voice connects the 2 people.
  5. Tap Close.
