Receive calls to join a meeting

This feature is available with Voice for G Suite accounts managed by your work or school. Sign in to your G Suite account.

A meeting participant in Google Hangouts Meet can invite you to join a meeting by calling your Google Voice number. When you answer the call, you're connected to the meeting.

For limits on joining a meeting by phone, see Add someone by phone to a video meeting.

Meeting details you see for the call

The meeting details you see depend on the privacy settings of the Google Calendar event. If one of the following is true, you see the title of the meeting on your phone:

  • Your Google Voice number is in the same domain as the meeting
  • You've been explicitly added as a participant to the meeting

If the visibility of the meeting event is set to Private in Calendar, you won't see the meeting title.
