Check your repair status

To check the status of your repair, call the shop that repairs your device or go to your Google Store repair history.

Important: Have your repair ID (also known as an RMA number or jobsheet number) ready. You get this number when you start the repair.

Track your mail-in repair

Important: To avoid delays or cancellation, send your device for repair on or before the date on the delivery label. Check your email regularly for messages that need your attention.
  • After you send your device for repair:
    • When the repair centre receives your posted-in repair, updates appear on your Google Store repair history.
    • Allow two to three days for your device to arrive at the centre.
    • It takes up to 10 working days for the mail-in process to complete and return to you.
    • If you request a prepaid delivery package, you'll receive it within two working days.
  • For pending or declined updates:
    • If your repair order needs an update after inspection, you'll receive an email that asks for approval with a subject line: 'Action needed: Approve changes to repair order immediately, RMA# xxx'.
    • You have 10 days to approve or decline the update.
    • If you don't respond within 10 days, or if you decline the update, the repair cancels and your device returns to you without any fix.
  • Once you approve the final cost and complete checkout, the order will be completed in up to three working days.

To get the latest update on a walk-in repair, contact your repair partner directly.

Tip: If you gave the repair partner the email address linked to your Google Account, limited repair status info may appear in your Google Store repair history. It may not always reflect the latest info from the repair partner.
