You can view your memories, watch photo slideshows and search your photo library with Google Photos on your smart TV. You control what photos and videos can be displayed on your smart TV.
To use this feature, you need a device that is compatible. Here are some brands that are:

Use Google Photos on Google TV
On Google TVs, you can use Google Photos features like:
- Slideshows: Play enhanced, dynamic photo presentations. Learn how to choose albums to display on your photo frames.
- Search: Quickly find specific photos or albums from your library.
- Remix: Create and customise new content with your existing photos directly from your TV.
You can create a screensaver from your Recent highlights, favourite photos or any Google Photos album.
- From the Google TV home screen, select Settings

To find specific people or favourite moments in your Google Photos library and see them on your TV:
- Press your remote’s microphone.
- Ask Gemini to show you specific photos.
- Select a photo to view full-screen, start a slideshow or edit with Google Photos Remix.
Google Photos Remix on Google TV is an experimental feature that uses generative AI.
Important: You can only use Google Photos Remix on Google TV if:
- You have Gemini-enabled devices.
- You’re in the US.
- Your language is set to English.
- You’re 18 years or older.

With Google Photos Remix on Google TV, you can easily apply fun, new styles to your photos such as watercolour and oil painting styles.
- Press your remote’s microphone.
- Ask Gemini to show you specific photos.
- Select a photo.
- For options, press the down button.
- Select Remix.
- Choose a style.
- Select Generate
Save to Google Photos.

Access Google Photos on Samsung TV
On Samsung TVs, you can view your Google Photos memories in 'Daily+' and 'Now brief'.
Connect to smart TVs- With your mobile device, scan the on-screen QR code.
- Select your Google Account.
- If you aren't already signed in to at least one Google Account, you need to sign in.
- Enter the code that appears on your device.
- To allow the device access to your Google Account, tap Allow.
- On your smart TV, open Google Photos

- At the top right, select Settings
Manage memories.
- Scan the on-screen QR code to choose the memory types that appear across all your devices, including this TV.
- You can hide specific people, pets or dates from highlights.
- Use your TV remote to pause a specific photo or skip forwards and backwards through the memory gallery.
- When you browse memories, you can immediately hide a specific one. To hide it from your view, at the bottom, select Hide

Tip: To find more memories, make sure that you back up your photos and videos.

- At the top right, select Settings
Privacy settings.
- Select a mode:
- Standard mode: Curated memories of friends, family and places.
- Guest mode: Hides potentially sensitive photos and videos from your memories.
- Select Save.
- On your smart TV, open Google Photos

- At the top right, select Settings
Profile picture or Initial.
- When the confirmation prompt 'Disconnect from Google Photos on this TV' appears, select Disconnect.
Tip: To manage Samsung TV memories, use the Google Photos mobile app. Find 'Memories preferences' instead of the 'Photo Frame' menu on the TV.
