Set up a multi-client account

Merchant Center multi-client accounts allow a single person or company to submit data feeds for multiple domains. Each client may have a distinct store name and URL. Please be aware that if you request a multi-client account your current Google Merchant Center account will become a sub-account in your new multi-client account.

Verifying and claiming websites under a multi-client account

We recommend multi-client account owners verify and claim a website URL with the parent account login email. Typically, the parent multi-client account will need to verify and claim the top-level domain, e.g.

If the Sub-Account Websites are Sub-Hosts or Paths Under the MCA Claimed URL tree:

After the parent MCA has verified and claimed a URL, each sub-account can automatically inherit the claim and can submit product listings for any sub-host or path under the claimed URL tree.

If the Sub-Accounts Span Multiple Websites:

The parent account should be verified for each website to allow the sub-account to inherit the verification status and claim the URL in the sub-account settings. To do this, please make sure that each sub-account has verified and claimed their website within their respective Google Webmaster Tools accounts. Then, share the verification status with the MCA login in Google Webmaster Tools. Read more about this process.
