Camera

How can I reset the Huddly GO camera to see the full room?

When the Huddly® Go camera is set at full-room view, distortion appears on the image corners. To correct this, when autozoom is turned off, the camera falls back to a zoomed-in view.

After you join a meeting, you can turn off this view:

Google Meet—Click on the top-right corner of the screen and then select Settings  and then Pan, tilt and zoom and then Return to home position.

Mimo® touchscreen—On the right panel, tap Control camera and then Reset.

Read about controlling the camera.

Why doesn't the autozoom camera follow the active speaker?

When autozoom camera control is enabled the camera doesn’t zoom in on individual speakers. It detects the faces of all meeting participants and crops and zooms to create a more personal meeting experience. For more information, see Turn on autozoom camera control.

Why doesn't the autozoom camera remain cropped on the meeting participants?

The autozoom feature detects faces and crops and zooms to best frame the participants. If it can no longer detect a participant or detects a new participant it may change the zoom level.

For the best experience use autozoom in small (3-5 people), well lit meeting rooms and position the camera 8 feet (2.4m) from the farthest person. For more information, see Turn on autozoom camera control.

I don’t see the autozoom option on the touchscreen. How do I enable it?

Your G Suite administrator needs to turn on autozoom camera control in the Admin console. For more information, see Turn on autozoom camera control. You must have the Google Meet hardware kit including the Huddly GO camera to use autozoom camera control.

Why isn't the Huddly GO camera working correctly?

If you don't use the correct cables, the camera can show visual artifacts or not work at all. The Huddly GO camera has a 4k sensor that requires a high bandwidth, USB 3.0 connection. You need to use qualified USB 3.0 cables. For more information, see Qualified peripherals for Google Meet hardware kit.

The Pan-Tilt-Zoom controls don’t show up or don’t work from the touchscreen

Make sure you are using a supported device. Google has tested and supports several devices as part of the Google Meet hardware qualification program. Please use the cameras listed in our help center.

In meetings

Why don’t I see the room’s list of meetings on the TV display?

With the introduction of the Google Meet touchscreen, the calendar is no longer displayed on the TV. Please check the touchscreen for your list of meetings.
