Fix payment issues

To remain a Google One member in good standing, your account must not have outstanding payment issues.

If you tried to buy storage and your payment didn't go through, try these steps.

Fix a declined payment
  1. Sign in to Google Pay.
  2. Click Update payment method information.
  3. Choose a payment method.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Fill in new payment method.

Update or add payment information

If you recently activated a new credit card, you may have to update the information in your account.

  1. Go to Google Pay.
  2. Click Payment methods
  3. Next to the card that you want to edit, click Edit.
  4. Enter the expiration date and CVC found on the card.
  5. Make sure that your billing address is correct.
  6. Click Save

Add another payment method

  1. Sign in to Google Pay.
  2. Click Payment methods
  3. Click Add payment method.
  4. Choose a payment method:
    • Add new credit or debit card
    • Add a bank account
  5. Follow the steps to add your payment method.
Make sure that your payment type is supported
Contact your credit card provider

If your credit card information is correct but your payment won't go through, contact your credit card provider.

They may have more information on why your credit card can't be charged.
