Meditate with help from your Google Nest display

Play meditations from Calm on your Google Nest display to help you relax during the day or fall asleep at night. You can start right away with a set of meditations available to everyone, or link a Calm Premium account for access to a larger library.

This feature is only available in English.

Play a meditation

  • To play a meditation selected by Calm, say “Hey Google, start a meditation.”
  • To search recommended meditations on your screen, say “Hey Google, show me meditations.” 
    • To scroll through the recommendations, swipe right or left on your screen.
    • To play a meditation, tap it.

Voice commands

For hands-free help while you meditate, say “Hey Google,” then:

  • “Louder”
  • “Softer”
  • “Pause”
  • “Resume”
  • “Stop”

Link your Calm account

You can link an existing Calm account or create a new one.

  1. On your phone or tablet, open the Google Home app Google Home app and then at the top, tap your account.
  2. Tap Assistant settings and then Wellness.
  3. For “What would you like to manage?” tap Activity.
  4. In the “Additional services” section, find Calm and then tap Connect
    • If you use the same Gmail address with the Google Home app and your Calm account, tap Yes, and share.
    • If you use a different email address with the Google Home app and your Calm account, tap I have one with another email and then log into your Calm account.
    • If you don’t have a Calm account, tap No, create one and then Sign up.
  5. Follow the in-app steps. 

Unlink your Calm account

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app and then at the top, tap your account.
  2. Tap Assistant settings and then Wellness.
  3. For “What would you like to manage?” tap Activity.
  4. In the “Additional services” section, find Calm and then tap Disconnect.
