How Google Partners uses manager account access levels
Your access to Google Partners features depends on whether you are associated with a Google Ads manager account (MCC) and your access level. If you do not have a Google Ads manager account, but you do want to get certified, please have a look at Academy for Ads for Google trainings and Google Ads certifications.
What this means for you
For your certifications to count toward badge and company specialisation status
- In Google Ads: Any user whose email has admin or standard Google Ads manager access to your company's Google Ads manager account (MCC) or sub-manager accounts will be considered affiliated with your company and have their Google Ads certifications count toward your company's badge and specialisation status. Bear in mind: Users with read-only access may not contribute to your badge and specialisation status.
- Be sure that you include your company email address in your Academy for Ads profile, or that your Academy for Ads account email is associated to your company’s manager account.
- Share your account information with your company so that your certifications count toward your company badge and specialisations.
Note: You may see a difference in your count of certified users because of this change.
To view badge and company specialisation status
- In Google Ads: Any user who is associated with your company's Google Ads manager account and has admin, standard or read-only Google Ads manager access will be able to see the Partners programme tab and your company's badge and company specialisation status.
