How do I use the Magnify feature on Fitbit Charge 6, Sense 2, and Versa 4?

Magnify allows you to zoom in on your Charge 6, Sense 2, and Versa 4 display when you triple-tap the screen. Choose between 2x and 3x magnification. To turn on the feature:

Charge 6

  1. Swipe down from the clock face and tap the Settings to open it.

  2. Swipe up and tap Magnify Settings. Turn on the switch under Magnify.

  3. To switch between 2x and 3x magnification, tap Zoom Ratio.

  4. Press the button to return to the clock face.

To magnify the display:

  1. Gently triple-tap the screen to zoom in.

  2. Press the button or tap the screen once to zoom out.

Sense 2 and Versa 4

  1. Swipe down from the clock face and tap the Settings .

  2. Swipe up and tap Screen Zoom. Turn on the switch next to Enabled.

  3. Tap 2x or 3x to change the amount of magnification.

  4. Press the button to return to the clock face.

To magnify the display:

  1. Gently triple-tap the screen to zoom in.

  2. Press the button or tap the screen once to zoom out.

Versa

Install the Fitbraille app on your watch to translate the time and your current step count to Braille, and then use vibrations to represent each number.

To install the Fitbraille app:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app on your phone, tap Devices your device image.

  2. Tap Gallery.

  3. Tap the Magnifying Glass and search for Fitbraille.

  4. In the results, tap the Fitbraille appInstall.

Tips for using the Fitbraille app:

  • Press the top right button on your watch to switch between the time and your step count.

  • Press the bottom right button on your watch to move to the next number in the sequence.

To set Fitbraille as a button shortcut:

  1. Press and hold the Fitbraille app on your watch until it increases slightly in size.

  2. Drag the app to the top left or bottom left position on the first page of apps on your watch.

  3. Press and hold the corresponding button on the right side of your watch to open the app. The top button opens the app located in the top left, and the bottom button opens the app located in the bottom left.

Sense, Sense 2, Versa 3, and Versa 4

Use the Amazon Alexa voice assistant on your watch to read your steps, resting heart rate, sleep score, and many other stats out loud.

To set up your voice assistant:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app on your phone, tap Devices your device image.

  2. Tap Voice AssistantAmazon Alexa. Follow the on-screen instructions to set it up.

To set your voice assistant as a button shortcut:

  1. Open the Settings on your watch.

  2. Tap ShortcutsPress & HoldVoice Assistant.

  3. Press and hold the button on your watch for 2 seconds to open your voice assistant.

To ask your voice assistant to read your stats:

  1. Open the Alexa app on your watch.

  2. Preface your request with “Ask Fitbit” and speak your request. For example, “Ask Fitbit how many steps I’ve taken today.” Alexa responds with text on-screen and verbalizes through the watch’s speaker.

    • To adjust the speaker volume, tap the speaker icon - icon or + icon.

    • If a stat isn’t available through Alexa, follow the instructions in Fitbit app.

Note: Install the Amazon Alexa app on your phone and add the Fitbit skill if you want to ask Alexa to open the Exercise app or start a workout for you. For more information about Alexa skills, go to amazon.com.
