  • Day of week / hour targeting

Ad groups

  • Ad rotation settings
    DoubleClick Search doesn't display or manage ad rotation settings for Yahoo Japan engine accounts. Ad groups that you create from DoubleClick Search use the default Optimize ad rotation setting (ads that are projected to have a higher performance will automatically be chosen and displayed). You can sign into Yahoo Japan and choose a different ad rotation option.

  • Mobile URLs (Smartphone tracking URL). Use the {ifmobile} and {ifnotmobile} parameters to implement device-specific landing pages.
    If you sign into Yahoo! Japan and add a Smartphone tracking URL, you can successfully sync the item into DS, but DS ignores the additional URL. You cannot see the URL in DS reports or bulksheets.

URL management

  • Custom parameters
    While DS uses one of the three available custom parameters to uniquely identify keywords and ads, you cannot view or manage Yahoo! Japan custom parameters from DS. If you sign into Yahoo! Japan and add custom parameters for a keyword or ad, you can successfully sync the item into DS, but DS ignores the custom parameters you created. Yahoo! Japan will apply the custom parameters when it serves an ad.
