How do I change default notification settings in the new Google Calendar

My default notifications are set to one alert 10 minutes before the event and one email 10 minutes before the event. I would like to change these if possible to add in more and at different times

hi Andrew

You can do this via the Gear icon > Settings > choose the calendar you wish to amend > Event Notifications

Perfect, thank you. Note for others who might have the same problem, the list of calendars is on the left hand side of the screen.

I may be being dim but there is no 'Event Notifications' option under 'Settings'. I would dearly like to change the default notification but I simply cannot see how to do it.

  • Post an answer.
  • Having your answer selected as the best answer.
  • Having your post rated as helpful.
  • Vote up a post.
  • Correctly mark a topic or post as abuse.

Having a post marked and removed as abuse will slow a user's advance in levels.
