How do I delete an individual facebook event from my google calendar?

I have my facebook events set to sync to my DROID google calendar. How can I delete individual facebook event from my google calendar? I have tried removing the event and then re-adding my facebook sync, but it still detects it. (someone created an event that lasts "all day" for months, so it is showing up every day in my calendar.

Thanks!

What arrangement are you using to sync with FB. Is this their URL feed from the "Export Events" link. From my own experience, it doesn't update in real-time after removing an event though I'm clear how frequently the feed is refreshed. How long ago did you remove the event from Facebook?

Yes, I put the export url into google calendar. I tried syncing both my google calendar and my facebook account through android, and the event's still there. I've also tried repasting the link into google calendar after removing the event from facebook. Any ideas?

The event is removed. I guess syncing manually doesn't hook up with the events and calendar. But problem resolved. Thanks.

I'm having the same problem.  I also used the URL synch from facebook to google calendar, and after deleting an event from facebook, it's still showing up on my calendar.  Do I just need to give it time to update?

Yes, waiting seemed to fix the problem for me. Eventually it syncs back up after you click "remove from my events," I guess it depends on how often you have your phone to sync with facebook.

a.irwi01 - you said it removed it from your droid.  Did it also get removed from you google calendar.  I get invited to TONS of month-long promotional events that are glogging up my gcal.  And, even when I click "remove from my events" on facebook, it's STILL on my gcal.  Any advice?!?!

allison - as far as I can tell, if you click "remove from my events" it eventually will be removed from gcal and anything that syncs with gcal. Obviously it takes a while (long enough for me to write the original post), but all the events I remove stop showing up on all gcal stuff eventually.

I removed the event from my facebook account, then went to my droid's cal/agenda screen.  clicked menu, calanders, and unchecked Facebook.
This will be an instant removal from your droid, but you have to remember to re-check it after giving Droid/FB to sync.

My situation is a little different.  I got the FB event spam on both the phone and GCal.  The event now no longer appears on my phone (Droid1) but it is still stuck on GCal.

I have a facebook event in my calendar that I removed a long time ago, it does not go away. Why doesn't android allow us to remove the events from the calendar?

In GCal go into settings and check 'hide declined events'.  Worked for me.  Had a 3 month long McD's event that was showing up daily.
