Use At a Glance on Pixel 3 & up
Important: This feature is only available on Pixel 3 and up. The full At A Glance experience is available on Pixel devices running Android version 12 and up. Some features aren’t available in all languages or countries.
On your lock screen, home screen, and Always On Display, you can find info and updates like:
- Upcoming events and reminders
- Flight info
- Train information such as platform, station name, status or seat information
- Weather info and severe weather warnings
- Tickets to your events
Turn At a Glance on or off
By default, At a Glance is automatically on for Pixel 3 and newer devices. The date still displays while At a Glance is off. Turning off At a Glance turns off all cards. You can customize your At a Glance if you want to turn off specific updates.
- At the top of your home screen, touch and hold At a Glance.
- Tap Customize
At a Glance.
- Tap Turn on or Turn off.
Turn At a Glance features on or off
Important:
- This feature is available on Pixel 3 and newer devices.
- The full At A Glance experience is available on Pixel devices running Android version 12 and up. Some features aren’t available in all languages or regions.
- This feature isn't available on iOS devices, such as iPhones, iPads and Apple watches.
To turn on or off individual features or content:
- At the top of your home screen, touch and hold At a Glance.
- Tap Customize

- Under “Features,” select a topic or category to turn it on or off.
- For more topics or categories, scroll to the bottom and tap See more features.
Customize At a Glance information
By default, At a Glance automatically displays content on your lock screen. In some cases, it can show important content from app notifications like doorbell alerts, calendar events or package delivery updates.
You can turn off sensitive content or get updates on your lock screen. Learn how to control your notifications.
To update the sensitive content setting:
- At the top of your home screen, touch and hold At a Glance.
- Tap Customize

- Under “Manage Personalization,” tap Sensitive content on lockscreen.
- Under "Privacy," turn sensitive notifications on or off.
Tip: You can turn off sensitive work profile notifications for At a Glance content from your work profile.
About your information in At a Glance
To provide information that matters most to you, Google uses data from your device and activity. To control what data is available in At a Glance:
- At the top of your home screen, touch and hold At a Glance.
- Tap Customize
At a Glance Settings

- Under “Manage Personalization,” turn settings on or off.
Control At a Glance information
There are several ways to control the information in At a Glance.
Control data from apps
For info such as updates for calendar events, At a Glance uses data from apps on your device.
Use data from your Google Account
For most At a Glance features, your phone will need access to your Google activity.
Web & App Activity
Your Web & App Activity setting helps At a Glance show you information like “time to leave” reminders. Learn how to manage your Web & App Activity.
App info
When you turn on “Personalize using app data,” At a Glance gets app information from your devices to give you some reminders and notifications. Learn how to manage your device's app info.
Gmail Smart Feature controls
With Smart Feature controls, At a Glance can show you information directly from your email, like boarding passes and event reservations. Learn how to use Smart Feature controls.
Location information
Your location information settings allow At a Glance to help you receive useful information based on your current location. For example, it can alert you when there’s an earthquake nearby, or severe weather alerts in your area. For some features, At a Glance will require access to your precise location. Personal Results
You can find personalized content with At a Glance. Learn how to turn off personal results.
Access to Calendars
In At a Glance, you can get relevant info about upcoming calendar events, like your next meeting. You can get some of these events from app notifications and the device calendar with At a Glance.
If you don’t want At a Glance to show events from the device calendar, remove calendar permissions from the Google app:
- On your Android device, go to Settings.
- Tap Apps

Calendar.
- Select Don’t allow.
Tip: Some calendar events will come to At a Glance via app notifications. You can control notification data in At a Glance as described in the Notification section above.
Access to Google Wallet
In At a Glance, you can get access to upcoming event passes stored in Google Wallet.
If you don’t want At a Glance to show passes from Google Wallet, you can remove sharing permissions from Google Wallet:
- On your Android device, go to Google Wallet
- Tap the Profile Icon

Notifications from installed apps
App notifications can be used for features such as doorbell alerts, package deliveries and calendar events. If you don’t want At a Glance to use app notifications, you can change this in your phone’s settings.
To change use app notifications:
- On your Android device, go to Settings.
- Scroll to and tap Notifications

Nearby devices
For nearby devices, At a Glance can show you relevant information, like battery, when you connect your phone to Bluetooth headphones.
To allow At a Glance to find and connect to your nearby devices:
- On your Android device, go to Settings.
- Scroll and tap Privacy

Turn off personal results
If you don’t want to receive personalized content from Google Assistant, you can turn off personal results.
Some potentially sensitive content can still show in At a Glance, even if you’ve turned off personal results from the Google Assistant. You can manage your content in At a Glance through your device settings.
To manage your content in At a Glance:
- Near the top of your home screen, press and hold At a Glance.
- Tap Customize

At a Glance for Wear devices
Important: This feature may not be available to all Assistant-enabled devices.
For At a Glance to work with your Wear device, you must have these permissions turned on in your Settings:
- Location
- Home and work address
- Calendar

You can get quick info on your Wear device with At a Glance, including:
- Time to leave
- Calendar events and agendas
- Commute time
- Weather
Turn At a Glance for Wear on or off
To get At a Glance updates on your Pixel Watch, make sure Google Assistant is turned on. Learn more about how to Set up Google Assistant on your device.
To get At a Glance updates, add it to your watch face’s layout:
- On your watch, press and hold the face to change and edit your watch’s face.
- Scroll to the "Utility" face, then tap Edit
.
- Swipe left once to select the layout and choose Modular II or Modular III.
- Swipe left again then tap the large rectangle to edit.
- Select At a Glance.
- Press the crown to exit and see your updates.
Use the At a Glance widget on Android devices
Important: To learn how to manage widgets on your device, check with your device manufacturer.
On most Android devices, you can install the At a Glance widget on your home screen.
To add the At a Glance widget:
- On your home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
- Tap Widgets
.
- Scroll to Google.
- Touch and hold the At a Glance widget.
- Drag the widget to where you want to place it.
To remove the At a Glance widget:
- Touch and hold the At a Glance widget.
- Drag the widget up to Remove
.
