In some watches, “Ok Google” hotword is disabled by default. Go to your Android Wear watch settings, then Personalization and enable it from there. Also, to activate Google Assistant, long press the button on your watch.
NOTE: Disabling Google Assistant does improve battery life. When enabling Ok Google detection you are trading some amount of battery life with an added feature.

Yes - in previous version, you would rely on bluetooth to sync music from Google Play Music on your phone to the watch. Now you can directly stream or download music from your Google Play Music account via Wifi or LTE
Does the watch need to be on charge for a specific length of time to receive the update?
It depends on the update, but most updates will not trigger until the watch is on the charger. More info here: https://goo.gl/DGZAs5
Is Together watch still available?
We took many of the ideas behind Together and brought them to the Android Wear OS as a whole so you can have close relationships with your friends, family, and loved ones using the messaging apps of your choice:
• Save a favorite contact to your watch face and be able to start a phone call or text message with them in a single tap
• Messaging apps can provide a way to save a chat to the watch face
• Smart Reply and the new keyboard/handwriting input methods allow for richer expression on the watch
Does that mean that other languages have no Ok Google functionality at all anymore or just not be able to use the more advanced Google Assistant voice functionality?
The voice actions and search functionality in other languages will remain the same as in previous versions of Android Wear (no functionality has been lost). The more advanced Google Assistant features are currently available in English and German, and we'll be working to expand language support in the future.
How can I see my current timer or stopwatch on the watch face in Android Wear 2.0?
In Android Wear 2.0, timer & stopwatch complications allow the current timer & stopwatch to be shown on the watchface.
NOTE: This might not apply to all watches, so check with your manufacturer
