Updated restrictions to ads for third-party technical support providers (August 2018)

Google provides translated versions of our Help Center as a convenience, though they are not meant to change the content of our policies. Due to a rise in misleading ad experiences stemming from third-party technical support providers, Google has begun restricting ads in this category globally. 

In the coming months, we’ll develop a verification program to ensure that only legitimate providers of third-party technical support have access to our platform. Until such time, all advertisers who promote third-party technical support will be affected by this change; no third-party technical support ads will be allowed.
