Business information requirements

Google provides translated versions of our Help Center as a convenience, though they are not meant to change the content of our policies. Important: Business name and logo is currently in beta and is limited to advertisers who meet the eligibility criteria outlined below. You’ll get a notification to add your business information as soon as it’s available to you.
Business information allows you to complement your existing desktop and mobile text ads with business assets like business name and business logo. These assets can help advertisers better connect with new and existing customers by leveraging brand equity. Learn more about business information

Disclaimer: By providing your own assets, you confirm and acknowledge that You (the advertiser) own all legal rights to publish the shared business name and business logo.

To ensure we provide a high-quality consumer ad experience, business information assets must comply with all Google Ads, Trademark, and Copyright policies. In addition, these assets are also subjected to the following requirements.

Business name specifications

  • Should strictly match either the domain name or legal name submitted via Advertiser Verification.
  • Name should be prominently displayed on the landing page of the Ad
  • Character length: Max 25 characters
  • Language support: EN, JP, FR, DE

Business logo specifications

  • Logo should match the advertised business and should be consistent for a given domain name
  • Aspect ratio: Square (1x1)
  • Image resolution: 1200x1200 (recommended); 128x128 (min)
  • File formats: PNG, JPG; Maximum file size: 5120 KB
  • Compatibility with both light and dark mode
  • Recommended image safe area: Put your important content in the center, 80% of the image.
  • Google might render your logo in a circular shape. To preview how your logo will appear on Google Ads results, review the example below.

Note: For initial beta launch, Google is only supporting domain level assets. Thus, you can only upload one business name and one associated logo corresponding to both ‘www.example.com’ and ‘www.brand.example.com’.
