How address verification works
- You enter your payments address in AdMob when you activate your account.
-
Verify your identity on the 'Verification' page under 'Payments'.
Note: Your PIN isn't sent until after you've successfully completed identity verification. - When your earnings reach the verification threshold (e.g. £10 for some accounts), Google sends a unique six-digit Personal Identity Number (PIN) to your payments address through international standard post. Google doesn't provide a tracking number for the PIN post, so make sure that your payments address can receive standard post.
- It usually takes three weeks for your PIN post to arrive. If you haven't received your PIN post after this period, you can request a replacement PIN.
-
When you receive your PIN post, follow these steps to verify your payments address immediately:
- Sign in to your AdMob account at https://admob.google.com.
- Click Payments in the sidebar.
- Click Verification.
- In the 'Address verification' section, enter the PIN that you received in the post. Make sure that you enter the PIN exactly as it appears in your PIN post.
- Click Submit.
Your payment address is now verified. You'll be paid when your account balance reaches the payment threshold, as long as there are no holds on your account and you're in compliance with the AdSense and AdMob programme policies.
Address verification timeline
You'll have four months from the date your PIN is generated to complete address verification. If you haven't verified your payments address after four months, we'll stop showing ads on your pages.
If we can't verify your address due to fraudulent activity associated with that address
If the address that you provided has been associated with fraudulent activity, you'll need to change your payments address to a new, valid postal address that can receive your PIN. Your new address must be different from your previous one.
After your new address is verified, you can request a PIN:
- Sign in to your AdMob account at https://admob.google.com.
- Click Payments in the sidebar.
- Click Verification.
- Click Resend PIN.
If you can't provide a valid payments address, ads will stop showing on your app.
If you have problems with your PIN
- If your PIN hasn't arrived, review Problems with PIN and address verification.
- If you've requested the fourth replacement PIN post and you still haven't received it after three weeks, go to our PIN troubleshooter.
