About Linked accounts and MCM setup options

Linked accounts aren’t supported in MCM. To migrate from SPM to MCM, publishers with linked accounts should unlink the accounts and then choose one of the following setup options.

On February 1, 2022, SPM was retired and replaced by Multiple Customer Management (MCM).

With this option, parents use Manage Account to manage these child publishers individually. Child publishers without an Ad Exchange account can get their own account. Ad Exchange will be enabled to monetize display and app inventory, not video or games.

Steps for parents

  1. If the child publisher isn’t connected through Manage Account, invite your child publisher.
In the invitation, be sure to select the Manage Account delegation type.
  2. Ask your child publisher to enable Ad Exchange in their Ad Manager account.
They can follow the “Steps for children” in the next section.
  3. After Ad Exchange is enabled for the child publisher, set up pricing rules in your child’s Ad Manager account.

    2. Activate Programmatic Direct.
