Replies to Group invites expose primary address

When accepting a request to join a Google Group, replies to the invitation will always originate from your primary email address, even if the invitation has your secondary email (alias) as the recipient of the invite.

If a group invitation is sent to a secondary email address of an existing G Suite or consumer email account, accepting the invitation will expose the primary email address in the membership list of the Google Group.

Best practices

Understand that there is a risk of exposing the primary email addresses in this case.
