Install mobile apps for Google Docs editors
In addition to installing Google Drive mobile apps, you should also install standalone mobile apps for Google Docs editors. These standalone mobile apps make it easier for your organization to create, edit, and view documents, spreadsheets, and presentations while on the go.
Users who want to edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations on mobile devices should install these apps:
|Mobile app||Getting started guide|
|Docs for Android||Get started|
|Sheets for Android||Get started|
|Slides for Android||Get started|
|Docs for iOS||Get started|
|Sheets for iOS||Get started|
|Slides for iOS||Get started|
If your organization uses 3rd-party Mobile Device Management (MDM), you’ll need to update your application whitelists to ensure that the Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides apps are allowed in your organization (check with your MDM provider to learn how).
If you don't allow the apps for your organization, your users will still be able to upload and download files using Google Drive, but they won’t be able to edit documents, spreadsheets, or slides.
