As an administrator for your organization, you control who uses Google AppSheet. You can turn the AppSheet service on for everyone in your organization, specific organizational units, or specific groups. Users who have AppSheet turned off retain limited access to the service (details later on this page).
Before you begin
- The free version of AppSheet is available to all Google Workspace subscriptions, which allows for prototyping apps and testing with 10 or fewer users (including the app creator).
- AppSheet Core is included in most Google Workspace editions. For details, see Google Workspace editions that include AppSheet Core.
- For Google Workspace editions that don't include AppSheet Core, you can purchase subscriptions for AppSheet in the Google Admin console. For details, go to Add and set up AppSheet for Google Workspace.
- You can purchase other types of AppSheet licenses in the account billing settings in the AppSheet platform. For details, go to to AppSheet pricing plans.
What happens when AppSheet is off
Users signed in with a Google Workspace account where AppSheet is turned off:
- Can't sign in or use AppSheet
- Can't access apps that require sign-in
- Can access public apps (that don't require sign-in)
All apps owned by these Google Workspace accounts are also blocked.
