When you sign up for G Suite, most of your services, like Gmail and Calendar, are already turned on.
When Google adds a new service in your Google Admin console, you can have the service automatically turned on for all your users. Or you can have new services initially turned off, then decide when to turn them on for users.
Turn new services on or off by default
From the Admin console Home page, go to Account settingsCommunication preferences.
- In the Release preferences section, click New products.
- Select an option:
- At the bottom, click Save.
This change might take up to 24 hours to take effect.
Note: The New products setting only applies to newly released Google products, and not when a new On/Off control is added for an existing Google product. Also, G Suite Essentials edition does not include all core G Suite services, and is not guaranteed to get new services in the future.
