View analytics for specific videos

The information below is about the YouTube Studio mobile app. Learn more about viewing YouTube Analytics on your computer.

You can see analytics data on the video level in the YouTube Studio app. Use the tabs at the top of the screen to see cards that show how well your video content is performing.

  1. Open the YouTube Studio app .
  2. Tap menu > Videos and select the video you’d like to see data for.
  3. In the Analytics section, tap View more.
  4. Choose one of the tabs at the top of the screen. Click below to see what data each section shows:
  • Real-time views**
  • Views
  • Watch time
  • Audience retention
  • Percent liked (vs. disliked)
  • Traffic source types
  • Traffic source types
  • Top external sources
  • Top YouTube search terms
  • Top videos suggesting this video
  • Top playlists playing this video
  • Gender
  • Age
  • Top countries
  • Top subtitle/closed caption languages
Interactive content
  • Card teaser clicks per teaser shown
  • Card clicks per card shown
  • Annotation clicks per annotation shown


Note: You may see different metrics in YouTube Analytics based on the platform - Classic on a computer, YouTube Studio on a computer, or the YouTube Studio app. Up-to-date metrics are available faster in Analytics on YouTube Studio (both on a computer and on the app) than on Creator Studio classic.
