YouTube Red data in YouTube Analytics

Keep in mind that YouTube Analytics shows YouTube Red viewer activity where YouTube Red is available, which is currently only in the United States.

You can see watch time and views from YouTube Red users, as well as earnings from YouTube Red, in YouTube Analytics. Learn more about your content and YouTube Red.

See YouTube Red watch time & views

Watch time and views from YouTube Red users are included in the total watch time and views numbers in the Watch time report in YouTube Analytics.

If you have earnings from YouTube Red, you can see YouTube Red watch time and YouTube Red views in the report, as well. This lets you easily see how much of your content is watched by YouTube Red members.

You can go directly to the Watch time report or follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to YouTube.
  2. In the top right, select your account > Creator Studio.
  3. In the left menu, click Analytics > Watch time.
  4. If you have earnings from YouTube Red, you can see YouTube Red watch time and YouTube Red views in the report, as well. This lets you easily see how much of your content is watched by YouTube Red members.

You can always select YouTube Red watch time or YouTube Red views from the Compare metric menu and compare those to total watch time or views.

See YouTube Red earnings

You can see your earnings from YouTube Red in the Estimated earnings report in YouTube Analytics.

You can go directly to the Estimated earnings report or follow the steps below.

  1. Sign in to YouTube.
  2. In the top right, select your account > Creator Studio.
  3. In the left menu, click Analytics.
  4. Under "Earnings reports," select Estimated earnings.
  5. In the report, select YouTube Red earnings.

Compare watch time to estimated earnings

  1. Go to your Estimated earnings report.
  2. Select YouTube Red earnings.
  3. From the Compare metric menu, select YouTube Red watch time.

Note: You won't receive payment for watch time or views of videos that are claimed by another rights holder or that don’t have monetization enabled.
