Break apart, delete, or duplicate a group

This feature is unavailable for AMPHTML ads.

Break apart an instance of a group

To break apart a group on the stage, right-click it and select Break apart from the pop-up menu.

The group will still exist in the Library, and any other instances of the group will be unaffected.

Delete a group

To delete a group, right-click it in the Library, and select Delete from the pop-up menu. All instances of the group will be deleted from the document.

If you individually remove each instance of a group from the document workspace, the group will still exist in the Library for future use.

Duplicate a group

To duplicate a group, right-click it in the Library, and select Duplicate from the pop-up menu. You can edit the new group without affecting any instances of the original group.

If you copy and paste a group in the document workspace, it doesn't create a new group in the Library. Instead it reuses the group definition, creating a new instance of the same group.
