Manage your subscriptions

To manage your Nest Aware subscriptions, you need to be the home's owner in the Nest app.

Change your payment method

You can change the card or payment method you use to pay for Nest Aware:

  1. Go to
  2. Find the device you'd like to update and select Change payment method.
  3. Pick a different payment method from the dropdown or add a new one.
  4. Select Update.

Cancel your subscription

When you cancel Nest Aware, you'll lose any video you haven't saved into clips. Make sure to save any important clips before you cancel.

  1. Go to
  2. Find the device you'd like to unsubscribe and select Cancel Subscription.

Transfer a subscription

You can’t transfer a subscription to a new device. Instead, cancel your subscription and then add a new subscription to your new device. If you already have subscriptions for both devices, you can also physically move your devices
