Why this issue is happening
You’ve submitted products in a category that we suspect should have Global Trade Identification Numbers (GTINs), but you haven’t provided the unique product identifiers that are normally required for that category. You must add a value to the GTIN [gtin]
attribute for all products in categories for which GTINs have been published.
How to fix your issue
The values submitted for the GTIN [gtin]
attribute must be those allocated by the manufacturer. You must also submit a value of true
for the identifier exists [identifier_exists]

Fix products one by one directly in Merchant Center
Navigate to Products in Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.
Use the filter icon above the table to find all products affected by your issue.
Click on the title of the product you want to fix, then click Edit product.
Check your product data and make sure that the product has an accurate GTIN [gtin]
attribute.
Select Save.
Fix multiple products at once
Navigate to Products in Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.
Use the filter icon above the table to find all products affected by your issue.
Select the download icon to download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues or this particular issue.
Cross reference the downloaded list with your product data, and ensure each product uses an accurate GTIN [gtin]
that is not in the restricted ranges.
Reupload your corrected product data to Merchant Center using your chosen upload method.
Next steps
After making the requested changes, check that you’ve fixed the issue by making sure it’s no longer listed on the “Needs attention” page.
