Report an error on the map

If we need to add roads to Google Maps, or something on the map isn’t right, you can tell us. Let us know if you notice errors in Google Maps such as:

  • Incorrect road names
  • Wrong info about one-way and two-way roads
  • Incorrectly drawn road
  • Road closures
  • A road on the map doesn't exist
  • Missing roads
  • Wrong addresses or marker locations.

Tell us about a road error

You can let us know about incorrect or missing information that you notice when using Google Maps.

Fix wrong info about a road

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app Maps.
  2. Tap your profile picture or initial Account Circle and then Help & Feedback and then Send Feedback.
  3. Select the affected road.
  4. From the list that appears at the bottom, tap the place or road you want to fix.
  5. Follow onscreen instructions to send your feedback.

Add a missing road

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app Maps.
  2. Tap your profile picture or initial Account Circle and then Help & Feedback and then Missing road.
  3. Move the pin to where the road is missing.
  4. Add points to draw the road.
  5. Tap Next.
  6. Follow onscreen instructions to send your feedback.

Report a Street View issue

If you find an image you want further blurred or an image you believe contains objectionable content, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the image.
  2. Tap Flag .
  3. Select the issue and tap Report.
