Note: On a phone or tablet, you can get travel times and directions to places you might go next, like your home, job, or calendar appointments. At the bottom of your map, tap Driving . Then scroll through the options that appear.

There are lots of ways to use Google Maps on your computer, phone, or tablet. Here are some things you can do.
Note: Not all features are available in all regions.
See search resultsLook for a place or type of places, see recent searches, or get directions. You'll see search results as red mini-pins and red dots, where mini-pins show the top results. To see more information, get directions, or see inside a business, click or tap any result.
On your computer, click anywhere on the map to get details about a place. On your phone or tablet, touch and hold anywhere on the map to get details about a place.

Note: If you're using Maps in Lite mode, you can't use the right-click menu to measure distances.
Help to make Google Maps better by reporting problems with the map, like incorrect business details, wrong road names, or other errors.
You can see more information about travel routes, traffic, or the landscape.
- On your iPhone or iPad, at the top, tap Layers
pick an option.
- On other mobile devices or your computer, click or tap the Menu
. Then select an option from the list.
To see 3D Earth view on your computer, go to the bottom left and click the square. If you're in Lite mode, you can see satellite imagery instead.
If Street View images are available, you'll see a Street View thumbnail when you choose a place on the map.
To see more details on the map, zoom in or out. On your mobile device, you can use gestures like rotate, tilt, and zoom to quickly move through the Google Maps app.
