How to fix: Unverifiable certification [certification]

One or more of your products has an unverifiable certification [certification] attribute. The product associated with the certification that you provided appears to differ from the product you uploaded. Either the certification code or the identifiers on the product itself appear to be incorrect.

Instructions

Step 1 of 3: See the affected products

1. Sign in to your Manufacturer Center account.
2. Click Diagnostics.
3. Click the Item issues tab to see current issues affecting your products.

To download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues:

• Click the download button next to the filter button , beneath the graph and above the list of issues.

To download a list (.csv) of all affected products for a particular issue:

• Find the issue under the “Issue” column, then click the download button at the end of the row.

To see a list of up to 50 products with this particular issue:

• Find the issue under the “Issue” column, then click View examples in the “Affected items” column.

Step 2 of 3: Add a certification [certification] with a corrected certification code

1. Filter the downloaded report so that you only see products with:

"Issue title" = Unverifiable certification [certification].

2. Check your certification data for those products, and either correct the certification code or correct the GTIN or MPN of the product if they're incorrect.

Step 3 of 3: Resubmit your product data

1. After you’ve updated your product data, resubmit it using one of these methods:
   • Upload a feed
   • Submit through the Manufacturer Center API
   • Upload your updated product feed to Manufacturer Center. Learn more about uploading product feeds
   • If you work with a data partner, you can ask the data partner to submit your data directly to Manufacturer Center. Learn more about working with data partners
2. Next, check that you’ve fixed the issue by making sure it’s no longer listed on the Diagnostics page.

Keep in mind: It may take some time for your changes to be reflected on the Diagnostics page.
